We are writing to express our appreciation for the professional manner in which you took care of the funeral arrangements for Maxwell Robertson of Duri.

We were impressed with every aspect of the service provided by you and your staff, from the initial contact, to the pick-up of the body, visit to our home and delivery of the funeral service on Friday.

In addition, the compassion extended to Max’s family and friends was inspiring.

Max’s every wish was granted, he was treated with dignity and respect, and his funeral service was a fitting tribute to a very fine man, thanks to the celebrant, Suzanne O’Keeffe.

We loved the words she put together so skilfully… and delivered with sensitivity and caring.

At such a sad time, it was such a relief to know that we were in the safe hands of trusted professionals.

Dad being dad only had one request and that was that you were to organise his funeral.

We would like to thank you for the beautiful service you provided our family. You made what was a difficult experience for our family bearable. We are so grateful that you were the one to be there for our family to organise all that we asked of you.

We are appreciative that you allowed us to take your folders to mum while she was in hospital. We are grateful that you came to the house to allow us to discuss what needed to be done.

You made the viewing of dad a beautiful experience. It was a very hard thing we had to go through but I am glad I did. Dad looked as though he was just resting. The placement of his hands was exactly how he would have held them. It made me feel at ease that you had so lovingly prepared him for us to say our final good bye. It gave our family closure. Due to the circumstances Dad was taken from us this was a much needed experience.

The service was beautiful. It truly honoured our father’s life.

My words will never be able to express how much your involvement meant to our family.

I’d like to thank you on behalf of my family for your compassion and thoughtfulness to us in our saddest moments at the loss of our Dad and Mum’s husband of over 64 years. You and your team handled all the arrangements re the funeral efficiently and beautifully and appreciate this.

Thank you for allowing us a viewing of Dad. I did, indeed, feel much better after seeing him in his best clothes and looking peaceful. He looked like Dad again.

For all these things and for arranging matters at the church and for preparing the paperwork also the flowers, which we loved, we thank you. I just wish I had a picture of the Australian flowers. I’m sure Dad would have approved.

I am writing to thank you for your caring professional conduct when you helped me carry out Gary’s wishes for his funeral in April after he passed away on 5th April.

You made everything so easy for us. Gary had suffered for a long time but more so in recent months. I have to be thankful that he is longer suffering.

Once again thank you for a job well done.

I have been dealing with Walcha Council for the interment of his ashes and it will probably be Monday 15th June and they have agreed to let us place the ashes because my daughter was overseas. I will let you know closer when I will want them.
